Is it still summer?

I'm starting to feel lazy and regret taking classes for second session. I probably should've taken it easy and relaxed.

Then a friend reminded me, "Weren't you in Paris for a month?"

Oh yea. Sigh.

Stocks, Bonds, Interest, Oh MY

First week of Finance is over and I'm a little worried. The class is moving so fast that I'm struggling to keep up with the concepts and readings. Plus I never liked compounding interest in math class. I have my first test on Wednesday and hopefully I'll do well b/c I don't feel like Q dropping anything.

Batman came out the other day and everyone is raving about it. I couldn't get tickets this weekend b/c my friend and I wanted to watch it at IMAX and it was sold out till Monday. I can't wait for it though! It's like the only summer movie I've been really looking forward to. Next up: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :)

So I went to Gregory the first time since coming back from Paris, and I couldn't go back to the gym for 4 days. I'm so sore it's ridiculous. It's a bit frustrating starting all over from the beginning considering I took weight training the whole last semester. Oh well, at least I won't have to go through this at the beginning of Fall semester.

And these Jonas Brothers make such popishly addicting songs:

Withdrawal

I'm finally back in Austin and I'm semi-depressed. It's good to be back and see family and friends, but I'm definitely having some Paris withdrawal. Everyone keeps tagging pictures on Facebook and it's makes me miss it even more.

So basically I loved CIBER. The program itself was a little disorganized at times, but the experience was well worth it. The city location for the Marketing program was awesome too. Paris is such a big and culturally rich city that there was something to do and see everyday. It definitely wasn't a boring place to be living in! I've learned so much about myself just from traveling and learning to deal with other people. I feel like i've matured a lot in certain areas and know which areas i still need some work on. If I had another chance to go abroad I would take it in a heartbeat. I know everyone says this after they study abroad, but GO STUDY ABROAD if you don't plan to. Plus, CIBER is only 5 weeks so it's perfect for anyone who gets home sick. :P

My Govt class at ACC started yesterday and I'm already behind on the reading...go figure. I'm still a little jetlagged but I shouldn't be using that excuse :P. My finance 357 class starts next week and I'm pumped cause that means I can go to gregory and start working off those croissants and crepes.

More pics from Europe (oh how i miss you...):

Most of the girls on a pedestrian bridge in Paris...eating wine and cheese during our last week.

Our group in Barcelona on the Fat Bike Tour (the guide made us point in diff directions).

At our company field trip to the L'OREAL plant in Paris. Classy outfits.
