One more week...

One more week till Thanksgiving! I don't know why I love this holiday so much. My family actually never throws the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We actually prefer chicken over turkey...and since there's only going to be 3 of us this year, it's nice to just go pick up some food at Boston Market haha. Actually we've been doing that for the past few years so I guess that is our Thanksgiving tradition. I also miss my parents alot. They are really some of the coolest/down-to-earth parents out there. I guess I also enjoy Black Friday! hahaha I don't really have anything this year that i really need but I'll probably try to get the first seasons of Ugly Betty and Heroes. OOO and there's also a lot of football to watch and play...man I love this holiday :P

Anyways...I got my Literature test back and I was right...I really didn't want to see what I got. I don't get why it's so hard to get an A in that class. I have about 6 other friends in there and none of us are on track to get an A. And it's not like I don't try! I spend hours and hours and hours studying for it. Sigh. This is when plus/minus grading would come in handy!!!

I went to the CIBER study abroad info session today. I really don't know what I'm doing over the summer but I feel like I should stay in Austin and finish up my government and history classes. It'd be nice to go to Paris for the first summer session though. I have no clue...

On a totally different topic...Senator Barack Obama is coming to Austin on Saturday (thanks to the many chalk memos on the drag). I really want to go and see what he says. I'm not much of a political person but I want to vote in the next election, and I feel like it's my duty to learn as much as i can from each candidate before I vote for them. I heard him speak on MTV a couple of weeks ago and he made some interesting points. He'll be at the Backyard at 4:30 pm on Saturday if anyone's interested.

On Sunday I also need to watch a play for my acting class. I'm planning on a watching a production at the Austin's Playhouse on Congress. Another busy busy weekend, but hey...there's only 2 days of class next week!!!

Oh and the MuteMath concert I went to last week was AMAZING!!! One of the most musically entertaining concerts I've ever been to. I can't wait to see them again.

I also took a video of the drummer's solo during "Break the Same"
